This is a desktop product that can be configured specifically
to monitor any accounts required by any particular risk manager,
desk, or wherever it is required delivering intra-day details
of the selected accounts highlighting all accounts but particularly
brings to the top those accounts approaching their margin requirements.
The Margin Monitor® presents client ledger balance, variation
margin, initial margin requirements, Net balance, Securities held
on account, and calculates how close to margin limits your
clients are.
This is all done in our real-time CADRE environment where all
cash entries and open positions are accounted for mark to market
and converted to USD. The Margin Monitor is fed all of this
information quickly intra-day via CADRE's Real-Time Engine
and presents a color coded list of selected clients to any risk
manager or dealers desk, highlighting in color coded sequence
those who have breached their margin requirements (red),those
whom are within 90% (amber), 80% (yellow), 70% and below (green).
The Margin Monitor® also has drill down functionality allowing
any account to be clicked on and presenting to the desk top
the current client statement of positions, variation margin,
initial margin and cash held within the account marked to market.
This is extremely useful for anyone dealing with clients on the
phone to have immediate access to all cash balances, new trades,
open positions, variation margin and initial margin requirements
for discussion with the client. All at the click of a button.
The Margin Monitor® also has a search facility to assist finding
a specific account in the monitor for quick access to account
statement information.
